Bleed Kit

Scaldwell Parish Council is pleased to let residents know that a bleed kit has now been purchased and installed in the village phone box.
This kit is designed to help provide immediate assistance in the event of a serious injury involving heavy bleeding. In an emergency, having quick access to the right equipment can make a critical difference while waiting for the emergency services.
The Parish Council hope that this kit will never need to be used, but it is reassuring to know that it is available should the need arise. Residents are encouraged to familarise themselves with it location.
If you ever encounter a situation where the kit is needed, always call 999 immediately and follow the operator's instructions.
